東京で生きるのは、楽しく刺激的ですが、時に忙しすぎて、人とのつながりや、自分の心を見つめる時間を失いがちです。私たちは、この都市のただ中で、「神の愛と希望が、日々の生活と心に届く場所」をつくりたいと願っています。ここは、完璧な人のための場所ではなく、癒しと回復を必要とする人たちが、共に歩むコミュニティ。イエス・キリストは、私たちの現実のただ中に来てくださり、共に歩み、癒し、希望を与えてくださいます。この教会が、あなたにとって安心できる場所、そして新しい歩みを始めるきっかけとなりますように!!

Welcome to Grace City Church Tokyo!

Life in Tokyo can be exciting and full, yet at times too busy, too heavy, or too lonely. In the midst of this city, we long to be a place where God’s love and hope meet the real lives of real people. Grace City is not a place for perfect people, but a community of those who are being healed and walking together in grace. Jesus Christ meets us right where we are—to walk with us, to heal, and to bring hope. May this church be a place of rest and renewal for you, and a community where you can begin a new journey of grace.

広島生まれうどん県育ち。日本長老教会東京中会教師。24年間に4つの教会とキリスト教学校で仕え 2023年よりグレースシティチャーチ東京主任牧師。
東京という都市のただ中で聖書の福音を現代の人々の生活と心に結びつけ人々が安心して福音を味わえる共同体づくりに力を注いでいる。
妻と息子の3人家族。これまで20回の引越を経験。
趣味: 映画, 自転車, コーヒータイム, 散歩, 旅 (現在28ヶ国. 目標は父の48ヶ国!!)
特技・パッション「人を元気づけて笑顔にすること!!」
Born in Hiroshima, raised in “Udon Prefecture” (Kagawa), Daisuke Kimura is an ordained minister in the Tokyo Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in Japan. After serving for 24 years at four churches and a Christian school, he became the Pastor of Grace City Church Tokyo in 2023.
Living in the heart of Tokyo, he is devoted to connecting the Gospel to people’s hearts and modern daily lives, as well as to building a community where people can experience the Gospel with a sense of security and peace of mind.
Daisuke has a wife and one son, and throughout his life he has moved a total of 20 times.
Hobbies: movies, cycling, coffee time, walking, travel (so far he has made it to 28 countries. His goal is to match his father’s 48!!).
Special skill/passion: “Encouraging people and making them smile!!”

オルガニスト。コミュニティーアーツ東京のディレクター。グレースシティーチャーチ東京の「フェイス＆アート（信仰と芸術）」のディレクター。宣教師として活動する芸術家のグローバルネットワーク「The MAKE Collective」のディレクター。アメリカのジュリアード音楽院にてパイプオルガン演奏修士、コロンビア大学にてエンジニアリング応用物理学学士を取得。現在リフォームド神学校修士課程で学んでいる。五枚のアルバムをリリースし、コンクール受賞も多数。『恵みの味』（2024）、『美の香り』（2022）、『砕かれた葉』（2021）、『ピアノのピッピーと黒い波』（2020）。2005年に来日し、現在家族と共に東京の月島に在住。登山、マラソンが趣味で各国へ出かけている。www.rogerwlowther.com

Roger received his Master of Music in Organ Performance from The Juilliard School and Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Columbia University. 福島県会津若松にある城跡近くで生まれ、育ちました。これまで、日本長老教会の教会で30年間、御言葉の養育とセルグループによって仕えて来ました。
2026年3月に退職して、グレースシティチャーチ東京のスタッフに加わることになりました。人々が御言葉によって生かされるために仕えたいと願っています。
趣味は、折り紙を通して人と関わること、歴史に関することです。
Watanabe sensei was born and raised in Fukushima Prefecture, near the castle ruins in Aizuwakamatsu. He served at a PCJ church for 30 years, raising people up in God’s Word and leading small groups. He retired from that role in March of 2026 and joined the staff of Grace City Church Tokyo, desiring to serve so that people can receive life through the Word. His hobbies include connecting with people through origami and studying history.

1986年からセンド国際宣教団の宣教師として来日し、5年後息子を授かる（息子は現在日本で就職）
これまでに横浜の教会の立ち上げ、立川の教会の手伝い、東日本大震災後は東北での教会開拓などに携わる。
日本の教会リーダーを励まし、支える事をパッションとしている（特にグレースシティチャーチ！！）
趣味: テニス　東久留米の自宅近くの銭湯に行ってお風呂に入ること
Joel hails from Kansas, met his wife Elaine in Bible college and came to Japan as missionaries with SEND International in 1986. Their son was born five years later and now lives and works in Japan. They started a church in Yokohama, assisted a church in Tachikawa and helped in a church plant in Tohoku after 3,11,11. Joel’s passion is to encourage and support Japanese church leaders, especially now at Grace City. He enjoys tennis and relaxes in the ofuros in Higashi Kurume, where they live.

From the US, Zak first visited Japan at age 16, and after 2 more trips over the years, he made the move to Japan in 2024, joining the Community Arts Tokyo mission team and Grace City Church Tokyo staff full time.

Born in New York, raised in Delaware, Andrew currently lives in Chiba with his wife, Megan, and five kids. They are part of the Community Arts Team. Andrew and Megan first met in a Japanese film class, and they both have a passion for missions.
Andrew's hobbies are various, but generally include interesting arts and exploring.
